What we require from a Team Leader:

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience working in Children’s Residential Homes
  • Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent
  • Excellent record-keeping skills
  • Passionate about working with children and young people
  • Good knowledge of the Children’s Home Regulation 2015 (as amended),  Guide to the Children’s Homes Regulations including the quality standards and Social care common inspection framework (SCCIF): children’s homes
  • Must be able to sleep over and undertake shifts, including evenings and weekend.
  • Understanding of children’s social and emotional development
  • Experience of managing challenging behaviour
  • Full UK Driving Licence
