What we require from a Team Leader:
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience working in Children’s Residential Homes
- Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent
- Excellent record-keeping skills
- Passionate about working with children and young people
- Good knowledge of the Children’s Home Regulation 2015 (as amended), Guide to the Children’s Homes Regulations including the quality standards and Social care common inspection framework (SCCIF): children’s homes
- Must be able to sleep over and undertake shifts, including evenings and weekend.
- Understanding of children’s social and emotional development
- Experience of managing challenging behaviour
- Full UK Driving Licence
